got my first camera from a pawn shop in 2002. an hour later i had my nose burried in photography books at barnes & noble and never looked back.

what got you interested in photography?
to be honest, i saw pictures my friends and other people took and thought i could do better. i also suck at riding bikes and needed something to get good at. one of the things i like most about photography is that it takes just as much, if not more, technical knowledge as it does pure vision to make a photo good. if riding bikes were an equation like that, i'd be alot better!
have you ever had the chance to shoot photos for porn?
i recently just did my first nude shoot. I wish i remembered it more, but i was fuckin wasted! I definitely think i could make porn look off the chain though!
do you have any favorite picture takers? (i say picture taker cause photographer seems gay and disrepectful)
atiba jefferson & matt price have been huge inspirations to me. atiba jus does his thug thizzle, shoots everything from nba games to skating. matt price was the first kid to ever really make it from a scub on the internet to staff at a respectable magazine, thats the shit! as far as bmx goes, jeff allen and jay cagney are the truth. I like those dudes cause they give shit a good look and arent vegan!
how do you feel about the mcrib being a seasonal sandwhich at mcdonalds?
i've never really understood the whole "McRib is back!" thing. its the only fast food item that has been around and not around for the past 15 years. get your shit together McDonalds! i havent had an actual mcrib in years though. a few summers ago i found out you can just get all the stuff from the store and make 3 double rib sammiches for about the cost of one from McD's. never again McDonalds!
why do you fuck with those kids so bad on the comeup message board?
i just keep it 100. i havent ever held back on them. most internet hate is just people spouting their opinions off without shit to back it up. but what i think fucks with them the most is that i talk more shit that anyone and have the technical knowledge and portfolio to back it up. i just think they need motivation. if all they hear is their friends tellin them that their photos are the shit, they become complacent and stop striving to get better. I honestly wish there was someone like me around when i started shooting photos. Even if their motivation in making a picture better is to shut me up, my job is done.
